so long sweet summer...

so once again, its been a while. summers almost over now, and i cant believe it went this fast. a summer spent full of kids and ice cream... sounds like a good one to me :) my only wish is that id gotten to see everyone a bit more, but hey, whatcha gonna do? there were some fun times nonetheless, and a few more yet to come :) (yay florida!!)

as summer is almost over, my job at easter seals is ending, which does make me kinda sad. im gonna miss my kids, and its such a shame the program is over. it was a good one. and where am i gonna get my entertaining stories about cursing 3 year old deviants, 3 year old streakers, and random "halleluia, praise jesus" "amen sistah!" shouting sessions at the lunch table? ahhh, its been fun. plus theres the fact that im finally getting to know the folks i work with there... and theyre fun hahaha, theyre throwing a birthday party for me next week (yes i know my birthday is in october) since i was the only one we didnt celebrate for this summer. i find this hilarious. especially since one of them gave away the secret without me even asking. hysterical. all the fun peoples who are my age-ish are leaving coldstone to go back to school now too - so no one left to talk to there either. oh well... hopefully i wont be working there too much longer past this semester anyways... hopefully :p


but florida next week - :D im excited. probably shouldnt be going because i cant really afford it, but i deserve it. i havent been to the beach at ALL this summer (im not even a little tan! :( ), and its going to be awesome to actually be able to spend some time with meg and karen o connor... we all no theres no funner group of girls to go dancin with ;)

welp, guess i really dont have too much more to ramble on about, so ill go do something else now. killing time whilst waiting for my car to get done so i can drive up to mo's graduation party tonite, which is exciting cause i didnt think i was going to be able to go. sucks that i had to spend my whole paycheck on new tires less than 12 hours after i got it, but it was gonna happen at some point soon anyways. probably should have put off the ipod purchase too, but i NEEEEDED it ;) :p... :D and now i can go and make mo happy with my presence... if she still loves me that is. seriously need to start talking to my friends on a more regular basis. itll be nice when everyones back in delaware.

ps - i need a new picture. especially since my hair is now considerably shorter than its ever been. maybe ill work on that today while im waiting for my car. yay for mad self portrait taking skills!! ;)
